We are currently adding the books on the list, and they will be available shortly. Please see the New Books displays in the library, and if you can't find the book you want, please let the volunteers know, and they will reserve it for you on our local system. New books in Community Libraries can't be reserved using the central system.

This has now been completed. We hope that you like the changes - it has made the space lighter and brighter.
Some re-shelving has happened - if you can't find what you are looking for please ask.

Painswick Community Library is an independent charity run entirely by volunteers. We are supported by a grant from Gloucestershire County Council under the Big Community Offer.
The Library is linked to the Gloucestershire County Library online catalogue. Books can be reserved online and delivered for collection to the Library. Books borrowed from County libraries can be returned to Painswick.
There are two People's Network Computers which is available for use free of charge. There is a network printer for which a charge is made per copy printed. Printing and photocopying is available in colour or black & white. Two-sided (duplex) printing and photocopying is also available.
A wifi hub is available free of charge, and you can connect to our printer.
A current Gloucestershire County Library card is required in order to borrow books or to use the computer. To apply for a library card click on the following link:

Click on "Join, Update your membership details" and follow the on-screen instructions.
If your existing card is out of date it can be renewed at the library.
